Main Street will come alive with classic automobiles, food trucks, music, local businesses, and plenty of community fun. Whether you are a classic car enthusiast, a foodie, or simply looking for a lively evening with family and friends, this is an event you will not want to miss.

Downtown Clayton will be filled with activity throughout the evening. Here is some of what you can look forward to:
- Classic Automobiles 🏎️: Stroll along Main Street and admire an impressive collection of classic cars, vintage trucks, hot rods, and other unique automobiles. Bring your camera and meet some of the owners who keep these remarkable vehicles cruising.
- Food Trucks 🌮🍧: Come hungry! Food trucks will be serving a variety of delicious meals, snacks, and sweet treats throughout the Block Party.
- Music 🎶: Enjoy music and a lively summertime atmosphere while spending the evening with friends, family, and neighbors.
- Downtown Shopping 🛍️: Explore the shops, boutiques, restaurants, and local businesses that make Downtown Clayton such a special North Georgia destination.
🏁 Start the Day with the Auggie Soapbox Derby
The Block Party is only part of the excitement happening in Downtown Clayton on August 8!
Before the Block Party begins, the Clayton Police Department’s 2nd Annual Auggie Soapbox Derby will take place on Hiawassee Street from noon–3:00 PM. The derby will feature both kids and adult race classes, with registration beginning at noon.
Come downtown early to cheer on the soapbox racers, then stay for the Block Party & Cruise-In from 4:00–7:00 PM. It is the perfect Downtown Clayton double header! 🏁🎈
