The Clayton Police Department’s 2nd Annual Auggie Soapbox Derby returns to Hiawassee Street on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from noon to 3 PM. Enjoy free entry, kids and adult race classes, and the Downtown Clayton Block Party afterward.
The North Georgia Highland Games return to Clayton, Georgia on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Rabun County Civic Center. Enjoy Scottish heavy athletics, pipes and drums, children’s Highland games, falconry, stone lifting, Scottish food, vendors, clan heritage, and family-friendly activities in the North Georgia mountains.
The inaugural Stars Over Clayton brought hundreds of people to Clayton City Hall Park for food trucks, vendors, family activities, music, and a patriotic drone light show over downtown Clayton. CMBA and the City of Clayton thank everyone who helped make the celebration possible.
