How do I use the interactive Clayton map?
Choose a business from the member cards, use the category filters, or select a name from “Jump to a member.” The Google map updates to show that member’s published location. Use “Open map” or “Find this place” to continue in Google Maps.
Which businesses can I explore?
A Stroll Around Clayton features 70 Clayton Merchants & Business Association (CMBA) members, including shops, restaurants, places to stay, activities, and local services. Choose “All CMBA members” to browse the full directory, or “Downtown photo stroll” to explore the local photo collections.
Are all of the stops within walking distance of downtown Clayton?
The directory includes downtown businesses and members beyond Main Street. It is a collection of places to explore, rather than a single walking route. Check each location in Google Maps and plan your transportation before visiting.
How do I save places to my own stroll?
Select the heart beside a business to save it, then open “My stroll”. Use the up and down arrows to arrange your stops in the order you prefer, then choose “Download my stroll (PDF)” to keep the list on your phone. The PDF includes member-profile and map links where available. You can also copy the list or use your phone’s sharing options when supported. Favorites are saved in the browser you are using when browser storage is available. They do not automatically sync between devices, and the saved list does not provide walking directions.
Where can I find business hours and contact information?
Select “Meet this business” to open the member’s Visit Clayton profile in a new tab. Use that profile to find contact details and links to the business. Confirm current opening hours, reservations, and availability directly with the business before your visit.
Why do some members have no specific map location?
Some members do not publish a specific public visit address. They are still included in the directory, and the map shows a Clayton overview instead of an assumed storefront location. Open the member’s profile for contact information and service details.
Where do the photos come from?
The stroll combines local photography of Clayton with images from CMBA members’ Visit Clayton profiles. Use the photo arrows to browse each gallery, or select the expand button to view a larger image.
